Whilst gaining both accounting and operational treasury exposure within an active Corporate Treasury environment, the successful candidate will also be provided with full sponsorship to undertake the Chartered Accounting Qualification (ACA).
As a member of the Debt & Operations Team you will support the Financial Accountant and Treasury Operations Manager with accounting and treasury back office administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Treasury Financial Accountant in the provision of accurate and timely monthly treasury reporting and preparation and completion of statutory reporting at year-end and half year.
- Support the Treasury Operations Manager in the provision of bank account management process, month-end reporting activities and monitoring compliance of treasury activities.
- Support the Treasury Financial Accountant and Treasury Operations Manager to ensure systems are appropriately managed and to review treasury reconciliations between the TMS and bank accounts.
This position is targeted at graduate candidates or part qualified accountants with a recent degree, ideally with an interest in financial markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with strong Excel skills and an interest in developing wider systems experience preferred.
