This is a first-class opportunity for a Treasury controller to gain international expertise at one of the world’s leading global oil and gas companies.
The role will be part of the Global Treasury Operations team and will report into the Group Treasurer with a functional reporting line to the Group Consolidation & Reporting Director.
The focus of the role will be to control Group Treasury activities for the group.
The Treasury Controller will take responsibility for;
- Controlling net financing costs and the reporting of fair value measurements of financial instruments including non-derivatives financial assets, long-term debt and derivatives under IFRS
- Record transactions within the Treasury Management System especially in relation to Accounting Systems
- Prepare the required documentation, control effectiveness and accounting records in relation to hedge accounting in compliance with IFRS 9 and manage financial instruments disclosures under IFRS 7
Ideally you will be a graduate accountant in a finance or related degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a consultancy or similar environment or similar experience formed within the treasury accounting area of an international multinational.
You will need to possess strong leadership, coaching and developing skills as well as a results oriented approach with hands-on execution capability.
Fluency in English and French as a second language a plus but not essential.
