Our client is a developer and operator of both privately financed and public sector infrastructure projects.
They are a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index and have traded for over 150 years and they have executed over 100 projects over the past 30 years.
The treasury team is responsible for providing and managing the Group’s debt facilities, global cash management services, financial risk hedging programmes, and global banking relationships.
The purpose of the role will be to manage the day-to-day cash balances of the Group and its overseas subsidiaries and to also ensure that all Group bank accounts across the globe are funded.
It is also key that the Treasury Manager prepares the short-term daily cash flow forecasts. The Treasury Manager is responsible for the electronic banking systems and ensuring that payments are authorised and released on time.
The Group is continually expanding so the Treasury Manager will also manage the process of adding bank accounts and amending bank mandates and overseeing amendment to the electronic banking platforms.
The chosen candidate will have a strong background within treasury, where they have gained great experience in the management of day-to-day funding requirements for a large company or group of companies.
They will be comfortable in dealing with the confirmation and settlement of corporate FX positions and exposures and have a good amount of experience of controlling and monitoring of letters of credit usage, including reductions & issuance.
It is vital that the candidate has experience of cash reporting and experience of liquidity monitoring and ensuring provision of adequate liquidity when required.
Due to all the multiple payments the candidate should have a detailed understanding of Global banking and payments processes.
It would be highly beneficial if the candidate has used any electronic banking platforms, and any knowledge of using the accounting system 360T.
