The Role

Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, Transactions & Trading of Porsche AG, the position will take responsibility for:

  • Implementation of hedging transactions and money market transactions (trading)
  • Foreign currency, commodity and interest rate management: conceptual and operational implementation of the risk strategy developed
  • Conceptual and operational implementation of the developed money market strategy
  • Financing management: operational implementation of the refinancing strategy developed by operational financial risk management
  • Initiating, expanding and maintaining banking relationships and ensuring a strategically balanced bank portfolio in the Porsche Group at all times
  • Further development of the front office function in the Porsche Group
  • Technical and content-related management of internal and external employees with regard to work execution, results and quality
  • Carrying out projects related to trading and committee work

The Candidate

  • Successfully completed studies in economics or mathematics (diploma/master’s degree) or a comparable course of study
  • Many years of professional experience (usually >7 years) in corporate finance/treasury front office in industry or at banks with relevant experience in trading foreign currency, commodity or interest rate derivatives
  • Experience in professional management of employees
  • Very good knowledge of quantitative corporate finance as well as well-rounded methodological knowledge in the areas of corporate finance, risk simulation and in-depth understanding of macroeconomic correlations and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and treasury management systems, trading platforms such as 360T, Finastra, etc.
  • Strong conceptual strengths and implementation skills
  • Excellent leadership skills [in particular strong communication skills, ability to deal with conflict, high level of commitment and team spirit as well as assertiveness and negotiation skills]
  • Very good knowledge of English (essential) and preferably German (desirable)
  • Ideally good knowledge of company valuation, accounting, controlling and project management
