Overview of Position
Reporting to the Regional Treasurer – EMEA and Americas, this role will take responsibility for the maintenance and development of the Treasury Management Systems – City Financials / TRAX / 360T. They will help develop the payment factory within the group, implementing future global cash management activities and assisting the Regional Treasurer in the major treasury projects.
Treasury Management System – Maintain and develop the Treasury Management System City Financials for the EMEA and Americas operations and the Weybridge Treasury Group. Work closely with the Treasury team in Sydney to ensure, from a Group perspective, the integrity of the system and reporting
Global Payment Factory – Plan and manage the expansion of the existing payment factory to other regions and across business units within the Brambles group and in line with the group shared service centre processes and strategy.
Cash Management – Ensure group cash management requirements of both the headquarters and the business units are identified, matched and optimized with appropriate cash management processes and procedures.
Ideally educated to degree standard and holding a relevant Treasury qualification, ideally AMCT. A relevant accountancy qualification would also be a distinct advantage.
The model candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who must be prepared to take an active role in the development of operational duties and be prepared to ‘roll their sleeves up’ given the hands-on style of the wider team.
They will be flexible, able to adapt quickly to an on-going changing environment within a small team and will be a natural multitasker with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities.
A track record in treasury systems implementation and global payment factories is key – City Financial systems and TRAX/SWIFT NET implementation would be a distinct advantage.
