With over 250 processing plants on five continents and sales and distribution offices throughout the world, Darling Ingredients serves the agri-food industry and reduces food waste by collecting and repurposing animal-based co-products and other natural materials that would otherwise be discarded. The Treasury Team

Darling Ingredient’s Treasury department is responsible for and supports the Darling organization in financing (external and internal), leasing, cash & liquidity management, foreign exchange rate and interest rate management and other bank related services.

The Role

The main tasks of the role focus on the Cash Management and Leasing operations of Darling Ingredients in North America, and you will have the opportunity to develop yourself within Treasury whilst growing your responsibilities over time.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee daily Cash Management including Wire Transfers, ACH Transfers, Positive Pay file transmission and reporting Daily Cash Position to Sr. Management.
  • Assure optimal daily cash positions are achieved for US and Canadian operations.
  • Supervise borrowing and repayment on revolving and long- term credit facilities.
  • Enter FX spot and forward contracts as required for Canadian operations to hedge balance sheet exposure and manage short term cash position.
  • Manage bank account structures, authorized signatures, and related bank administration.
  • Manage lease administration in Lease Accelerator and support accounting team in the monthly closing process.
  • Support business in bank and lease related matters.
  • Support Treasury Manager and Treasurer in projects.

The Candidate

The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate in a business or finance related discipline and have at least 2 years corporate treasury experience.

They will be someone who has a willingness to develop and grow their treasury career. They should want to add value to the company, whilst being willing to roll up their sleeves and be hands on as and when required.

They will be able to navigate and adapt to work in a dynamic and continuously changing corporate environment. We are seeking someone who is both a team player and a partner to the business and its stakeholders.

In addition, you will have excellent Excel and system skills, analytical and accuracy skills.
