The Role
The Liquidity and Market Risk Treasury Analyst will work directly with the Treasury Manager in driving efficiencies and implementing best practices within the Treasury function. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, great initiative, and the ability to build strong relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute the day-to-day cash management across over 500 entities, i.e., monitor daily cash positions and ensure all group accounts are adequately funded
- Execute debt-related payments and distributions to shareholders
- Support the roll-out of liquidity initiatives including physical sweeps, notional pooling, and virtual accounts
- Support the Treasury Manager with continuous improvement initiatives and projects including cash flow forecasting across the group, data analysis and reporting
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business including Finance, Transactions, Accounts Payable and Tax
- Maintain treasury databases, enhance data extraction processes, and leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights that improve decision-making
- Improve and roll out Liquidity and Market Risk reporting for the group
- Lead on building up Liquidity and Market Risk Treasury procedures
The Candidate
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic results
- Experience in a Corporate Treasury function is required 1-2 years
- Holding certifications such as ACT, CFA, or ACCA is highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills are essential. Proficiency in Power BI and Power Query is highly preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to multiple tight deadlines
