Ritu Narula

SVP Finance & Treasurer, Hilco Global

Ritu Narula is a senior finance leader with extensive experience across global treasury, capital structure, M&A, and financial operations. She is currently SVP Finance & Treasurer at Hilco Global, where she leads financing strategy, credit facility optimisation, global cash management, and oversees FP&A and shared services.

Previously, Ritu spent nearly two decades at Stericycle Inc., most recently as VP Finance & Treasurer. She played a key role in the company’s sale to Waste Management, leading treasury aspects of the transaction and integration. She also partnered with executive leadership to deliver over $1.3B in debt reduction and strengthen the company’s capital structure.

Her experience includes managing multi-billion-dollar financing programmes, supporting 200+ acquisitions, and leading global treasury transformations. She has also driven improvements in cash flow, cost efficiency, and governance across complex international operations.

Ritu holds a Master’s in Finance from the Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Delhi University.

Sherri Nicole Speaks

VP, Treasury at JBT Marel Corporation

Sherri currently serves as Vice President, Treasury at JBT Marel Corporation (JBTM). JBTM is a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food and beverage industry with corporate offices in Chicago. In her role, she oversees the company’s capital structure, bank relations, cash and debt management, foreign exchange and insurance risk management programs, credit management, and trade finance activities. Additionally, Sherri works with the Corporate Development team on acquisition funding, due diligence, and integration.

Prior to joining JBTM in 2014, Sherri worked at Illinois Tool Works in Glenview, IL in a number of Treasury roles.

Prior to ITW, Sherri worked for several years in the sub-prime mortgage industry.

Sherri holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Illinois, a Master’s in Accounting and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Sherri has been actively involved with the Association of Financial Professional (AFP) for over 15 years, working on the Certified Treasury Professional exam committee and the Conference Planning Task Force. In 2024, Sherri was elected to the Board of Directors for AFP.

Sherri is a lifelong Chicago resident.

Jim Portalatin

Global Treasurer, Tolmar

Jim Portalatin has been in corporate treasury for over 25 years now. He is currently the Global Treasurer at Tolmar a specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to innovating treatments in the areas of urology, oncology, and endocrinology.

Prior to joining Tolmar he was the Vice President Global Treasury and Foreign Exchange at Methode Electronics, a $1.2 billion global developer of custom engineered applications located in Chicago, IL where he oversaw all company treasury activities.

Prior to joining Methode, Jim held numerous treasury roles within highly regarded multinational firms including Hill-Rom, Corning Incorporated and Hospira.

Jim holds an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from Fordham University, a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University and is a Certified Treasury Professional.
