Catherine Porter

Head of Treasury at Arup

Catherine Porter is a seasoned finance and treasury leader with over two decades of experience spanning global corporates, not-for-profits, and professional services.

Currently Head of Treasury at Arup, she has previously held senior roles with Omnicom, CBRE, and Cancer Research UK, overseeing complex treasury operations across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Her expertise covers everything from FX, liquidity, and risk management to treasury transformation and governance. Catherine has led teams across multiple regions, managed treasury centres, and driven projects including cash pooling, system implementations, and M&A integrations.

Beyond her executive career, Catherine is an active non-executive contributor in the finance and treasury community. She has served as Chair of the Membership Advisory Panel at the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT), and as a member of both the Finance Committee of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Cancer Research UK Pension Scheme Investment Committee.

Catherine is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) as well as a Fellow of the ACT (FCT).

Amar Farooq

Group Treasurer, Westcon-Comstor

Amar Farooq is Group Treasurer at Westcon-Comstor, where he leads the group treasury function.

He brings a strong blend of treasury, finance and banking experience, having previously spent more than six years at Travelport, progressing through senior treasury roles including Senior Treasury Manager, Director & Deputy Group Treasurer, and Senior Director & Deputy Group Treasurer.

Before moving into corporate treasury, Amar built a strong finance foundation at RBS and Royal Bank of Scotland, with roles across treasury finance control, finance business partnering, FP&A, decision support, divestment and internal audit.

He is a Chartered Accountant through ICAS, holds the Certificate in International Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, and studied Economics at the University of Southampton.

His key areas of expertise include cash reporting, banking and financial risk.

Guy Ingram

VP Treasury Operations at Anglo American

Guy Ingram is Vice President, Treasury Operations at Anglo American and an experienced treasury leader with more than 20 years’ multinational corporate treasury experience.

His career has spanned the mining, healthcare, FMCG, telecommunications and technology sectors, with senior treasury roles at Anglo American, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Anheuser-Busch InBev, SABMiller, BT and Agilent Technologies.

Guy has extensive experience in treasury transformation, operating model development, cash and liquidity management, funding, foreign exchange risk management, treasury technology and M&A integration. At SABMiller, he played a central role in developing the Group Treasury function across people, processes and technology, including the creation of regional treasury capabilities and the standardisation of treasury activities across multiple markets.

He has also led major treasury systems and process transformation programmes, including TMS implementations, bank connectivity projects, cash pooling structures, shared service initiatives and the integration of SABMiller’s treasury operations following its acquisition by AB InBev.

Guy is both AMCT and FCCA qualified. He is a regular treasury conference speaker and has contributed a number of articles to treasury industry publications
