Louise Woodroffe

Head of Treasury at Hastings Direct

Louise Woodroffe is currently the Head of Treasury at Hastings Direct, where she leads the treasury function.

She brings over 15 years of treasury and finance experience across a mix of FTSE-listed companies, financial services, retail, and global corporates.

Prior to joining Hastings Direct, Louise held senior treasury roles at Marks & Spencer and Burberry, where she served as Assistant Group Treasurer, supporting complex funding structures, risk management frameworks, and strategic treasury initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Louise held treasury leadership and specialist roles at First Quantum Minerals, Motability Operations, British Land, and Royal Bank of Scotland, building a strong technical foundation across capital management, treasury operations, and financial governance.

Louise is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (FCT) and holds the Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management, alongside her CGMA qualification.

Mike Tackley

Global Head of Treasury, Howden Insurance

Mike Tackley is the Global Head of Treasury at Howden Insurance, where he leads group-wide treasury strategy and works closely with senior leadership and the board.

He is an experienced treasury leader with a strong background across FTSE-listed and private equity-backed organisations, particularly in the energy and insurance sectors.

Prior to Howden, Mike was Group Treasurer at Harbour Energy and previously Group Treasurer at Chrysaor, leading treasury through periods of growth, change, and integration.

Earlier in his career, Mike spent over a decade at BG Group, holding senior roles across credit risk, treasury risk management, and internal controls.

During this time, he helped establish middle-office capability, delivered treasury system upgrades, supported debt and hybrid bond issuance, and embedded robust Sarbanes-Oxley compliant control frameworks.

Mike began his career in audit at Grant Thornton and holds professional qualifications with the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) and the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT).

Joanne McCormack

Treasury Director

Joanne McCormack is an experienced Treasury Director with over two decades of global corporate treasury experience across media, advertising, technology, and financial services organisations.

Most recently, Joanne served as Director of Treasury at Interpublic Group (IPG), where she led the treasury function from 2017, with responsibility for global liquidity, funding, cash management, working capital, and financial risk activities within a large, complex multinational group.

Prior to IPG, Joanne was Deputy Treasurer at Travelport, supporting treasury operations during a period of organisational change.

Earlier in her career, she spent over five years as Assistant Treasurer at GE Capital Real Estate, where she developed deep expertise across treasury management and corporate finance, including leading the issuance of third-party debt within a highly regulated environment.

Earlier roles also include senior treasury positions at Warner Music Group, where she served as Director of Treasury, leading the establishment of the in-house bank and overseeing group-wide foreign exchange exposure management, and at Time Warner Inc. as Treasury Manager, building a strong foundation across treasury operations and balance sheet management in international corporate settings.
