Treasurer and VP M&A, Americas at Air Liquide
Tamara Saront-Eisner is the Treasurer and VP Mergers & Acquisitions, Americas’ Hub for Air Liquide, an international Fortune500 French company and the world leader in industrial gasses. This Hub represents more than 40% of the group’s consolidated revenue after the successful acquisition of Airgas, Inc in 2016.
She has been recognized as one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women” of 2016 by Houston Women Magazine.
She currently serves on the board of the Association of Financial Professional (AFP), a national non-for-profit association for treasurer and financial professional. In 2017, she was President of the Houston chapter of Women’s Energy Network, a 29-year-old non-profit organization focused in promoting and fostering professional women in the energy industry.
Tamara is passionate about helping and mentoring others. She is focused on promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) participation by girls and regularly shares time in Air Liquide’s diversity groups.
She received her B.A. in Economics from University of San Andres, Argentina and her MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), UK.
Fred Schacknies
Vice President, Treasurer at TechnipFMC
Fred Schacknies is VP & Treasurer at TechnipFMC, a UK-based provider of technology solutions to the traditional and new energy industry, headquartered in Houston, TX.
He leads a team 60 professionals in 12 countries, responsible for corporate finance, financial risk, cash management, credit, pension investment, insurance and infrastructure.
Prior to joining TechnipFMC in 2020, he held various treasury roles with Hilton, Constellation Energy and Lucent Technologies.
Fred is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). His teams have been recognized with an AFP Pinnacle Grand Prize, and Adam Smith Award and four Alexander Hamilton Awards for various projects advancing financial risk and liquidity management and treasury systems.
Fred holds a BA in international relations and economics from Brown University and an MBA in finance from New York University.
