Brook Ballard is the Treasurer of Oceaneering International, an engineering and applied technology company operating in 80 countries around the globe. Oceaneering services companies, government agencies, amusement parks and firms in the aerospace, marine and construction industries.

Before joining Oceaneering, he managed the Treasury Operations for Cheniere, where his team won an award for best Treasury Transformation from Treasury Management International. He has a passion for Treasury, Technology and Transformation using these skills on the team recruited to aid AIG in the financial crisis, on team at the forefront of building the architecture for Remote Capture and Treasury solutions at Sysco or building the Treasury systems for Live Nation.

He is a past president for HTMA, past chair of TEXPO and board member of the Alliance of Texas Treasury associations (ATTA), the governing body for TEXPO.

Brook graduated from Sam Houston State University with an MBA in Finance and an undergraduate degree in International Business and Economics.

Jordan Timberlake

VP, Treasurer and Investment Operations at Memorial Hermann Health System

Jordan Timberlake joined Memorial Hermann Health System in September 2014, where she is responsible for overseeing the daily treasury/investment operations and managing the system’s $2.3B capital structure. She participates in the development and implementation of strategic cash management and capital planning for the health system. She also currently manages the treasury and investment operation teams.

Prior to joining Memorial Hermann, Jordan worked in treasury banking at Amegy Bank. She served as Treasury Officer covering healthcare and energy in Houston. Jordan has over 15 years of treasury and banking experience. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

She also holds a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University.

Fred Schacknies

VP & Treasurer at TechnipFMC

Fred Schacknies is VP & Treasurer at TechnipFMC, a UK-based provider of technology solutions to the traditional and new energy industry, headquartered in Houston, TX.

He leads a team 60 professionals in 12 countries, responsible for corporate finance, financial risk, cash management, credit, pension investment, insurance and infrastructure.

Prior to joining TechnipFMC in 2020, he held various treasury roles with Hilton, Constellation Energy and Lucent Technologies.

Fred is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). His teams have been recognized with an AFP Pinnacle Grand Prize, and Adam Smith Award and four Alexander Hamilton Awards for various projects advancing financial risk and liquidity management and treasury systems.

Fred holds a BA in international relations and economics from Brown University and an MBA in finance from New York University. He has lived in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He currently resides in Houston, TX with his wife and three children.
