In this LIVE version of our podcast www.TreasuryCareerCorner.com – I host a fireside relaxed chat-style session where I interview THREE amazing Treasury professionals about their treasury careers.
We’ll explore how they achieved their career success, the challenges they faced, how they overcame them, their insights on the future of the treasury profession and they will be offering guidance on how to develop your own Treasury career.
Registration starts at 6pm, followed by the fireside chat from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Afterwards, enjoy complimentary drinks and network with peers in the City offices of Herbert Smith Freehills beautiful offices, in Broadgate Circle in the heart of the City of London.
Andy is the Director, Group Corporate Finance for Tesco, responsible for leading the Group’s Treasury function, including external financing, financial risk management, capital allocation and treasury accounting.
Andy joined Tesco in April 2023 from Tate & Lyle PLC, where he was the Group Financial Controller and Head of Corporate Finance. At Tate & Lyle, Andy was the Finance lead on a major carve out and disposal transaction.
Prior to Tate & Lyle, Andy worked at Reckitt Benckiser in Corporate Finance, M&A and Investor Relations.
Andy spent the early part of his career working for PwC in London and Hong Kong.
Wolfgang is the Vice President of Corporate Finance & Treasury at Porsche, responsible for overseeing the Group’s corporate finance and treasury functions, including financial risk management, cash management, capital allocation, and treasury accounting.
Wolfgang joined Porsche in February 2017. He has led significant financial initiatives and driven organizational improvements through change management.
Prior to Porsche, Wolfgang spent over a decade at Johnson Controls in senior finance roles, including Finance Director for PG Metal Europe and Corporate Treasurer for Asia Pacific. He managed complex financial operations and post-merger integrations.
Earlier, Wolfgang worked at Henkel in finance and controlling roles across Asia, including Shanghai and Bangkok, optimizing capital structures and implementing cash management solutions.
Wolfgang began his career at KPMG as an Audit Assistant in Vienna, auditing financial statements in accordance with international standards.
He holds a Master of Social Sciences from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
Tanja is the International Treasury Director for Acrisure, a $4.3bn PE-backed insurance broker.
Tanja joined Acrisure from Ocado Group plc, a FTSE100 technology company, where she was the Group Treasurer.
At Ocado Tanja lead the Treasury teams through significant transformation, to build a FTSE100 appropriate Treasury team for the Group.
Prior to Ocado, Tanja spent nearly a decade in senior Treasury roles at Kohler Co., an $8bn private US manufacturing company, particularly focused on refinancing, automation strategy, as well as building the global Treasury talent pools. Previously Holden worked in various Finance and Treasury roles at Dyson in the UK.
Mike Richards is the CEO & Founder of the Treasury Recruitment Company.
