Declan Doorly

Declan is an experienced professional with a depth of expertise in operational and financial leadership roles.

He joined DCC plc in 2016 and led the establishment of the Group’s Commodity Risk Management function.  In 2018 he was appointed Finance Director of the Group’s Retail & Oil Energy Division and in December 2022, he assumed the role of Head of Group Treasury.  Prior to joining DCC, Declan held a number of senior operational and finance roles, including in Topaz Energy (now Circle K).

His diverse background includes extensive financial services experience, having worked in a leading Irish stockbroking and corporate finance firm, the Irish Stock Exchange, banking and in the financial services practice of KPMG.

Declan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant.

Mags Bourke

Global Treasurer at Duracell

As the Global Treasurer for Duracell, a Berkshire Hathaway Inc. company, Mags bring over 30 years of Treasury experience across US and UK listed and private equity companies. Her career spans various sectors, including retail, logistics, utilities, engineering, oil and gas, and currently, FMCG.

Mags transitioned from a Quantity Surveyor in Construction to a Treasury Assistant, and progressively advanced to roles such as Analyst, Senior Analyst, Treasury Manager, International Treasury Manager, Assistant Treasurer, and now, Global Treasurer for Duracell.

Passing the ACT exams significantly shaped my treasury expertise.

Throughout her career, she has embraced technology and change, participating in projects such as off-balance sheet financing, acquisitions, risk management, FX hedging, and cash management, particularly in challenging regions like Africa and LATAM.

Mags is passionate about developing talent. She has successfully motivated colleagues to transition from Accounting to full-time Treasury roles and has effectively hired and retained new talent at Duracell during the Covid-19 pandemic, facilitating a smooth transition to fully remote working

Philip Learoyd

Philip Learoyd

With over 30 years of experience in corporate treasury and financial risk management, Philip Learoyd is a highly respected treasury leader.

Since 2017, he has served as Group Treasurer at OCI NV, where he oversees global treasury operations, funding strategies, and risk management to support the company’s financial stability and growth.

Prior to OCI NV, Philip spent 10 years at SABMiller plc as Head of Funding & Risk Management, leading complex financing initiatives and mitigating financial risks across global markets.

He also held senior treasury roles at O2, Dell, Deloitte, United Technologies, and Panasonic, building expertise in corporate finance, liquidity management, and treasury consulting.

Philip holds a BA in Law and Accounting from the University of Kent and is based in London.

His extensive experience across industries makes him a key figure in the global treasury landscape.
