This is not another Treasury Analyst role where every system, process and responsibility has already been decided.
Our client is a rapidly growing international insurance business that is building its standalone treasury function while continuing to acquire and integrate new businesses.
Reporting to the Director of Treasury, this is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across cash and liquidity management, banking, payments, investments, FX and treasury technology.
Alongside the day-to-day treasury responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to get involved in some significant projects, including integrating newly acquired businesses, implementing a new Treasury Management System and helping to establish and improve treasury processes as the function develops.
The Role
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily cash and liquidity activities, including cash positioning, cash movements and short-term investments
- Owning payment release and bank account management activities across the business
- Supporting FX activity, bank relationships and wider treasury operations
- Supporting the treasury integration of newly acquired businesses as the organisation continues to grow
- Playing a key role in the implementation of a new Treasury Management System, alongside improving processes, controls and automation
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within treasury, accounting, finance or a related environment who is keen to develop within a broad and evolving treasury function.
You will ideally have:
- Hands-on experience across cash management, liquidity and payments
- Experience executing or releasing payments through banking platforms
- Exposure to bank account administration, including KYC, signatories and user access
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
- A proactive, self-starting approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with a Treasury Management System is highly desirable, with Trovata particularly relevant. Experience within insurance or another complex, regulated environment would also be advantageous.
Culture & Fit
This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a treasury function that is still evolving rather than stepping into an environment where everything is already established.
You will need to be comfortable being hands-on with the day-to-day treasury activity while also getting involved in projects, systems and process improvements.
The business is growing quickly, so curiosity, adaptability and the confidence to take ownership will be important.
How to Apply
If you are looking for a Treasury Analyst opportunity where you can broaden your experience and play a genuine role in shaping how a growing treasury function operates, we would be keen to hear from you.
