We are delighted to be supporting a pureplay energy leader in their search for a Treasury Analyst to join their team.
This is a junior level role for someone who wants to have exposure to all areas of Treasury working in a very fast-paced environment where no day is the same.
The Role
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of operational tasks, with a primary focus on managing cash management processes and reporting. This role is based in London (3 days per week in the office) and will report to the Head of Treasury. It is ideal for an individual looking to advance their career in corporate treasury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cash Management: Oversee daily cash processes, providing funding and investment recommendations. Collaborate closely with the transactions processing team and Head of Treasury to manage all cash flows related to revenue, expenditure and debt servicing.
- Transaction Banking and Administration: Lead all areas of transaction banking and administration, including bank mandates, portal access, and the corporate card program.
- Treasury Reporting: Responsible for cash reporting, including cash actuals, liquidity forecasting, and confirmation matching.
- Strategic Analysis Support: Assist the Head of Treasury with strategic analysis and build forecast models to support recommendations presented to the executive leadership team.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to ensure excellent customer service and value delivery to stakeholders.
The Candidate
- 1–2 years of experience in treasury, payments, or financial operations within a large, fast-paced, and evolving organisation
- Proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine passion for treasury
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong data analysis and modelling skills
- Solid technical understanding of treasury, financial, and reporting systems
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Confident and professional communicator, with the ability to influence outcomes effectively
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
