This is something that Edwin Koopmans, the Head of Treasury at Zalando SE, has kept in mind throughout his long and successful career in treasury.
Edwin has worked in a variety of finance roles, including treasury management, corporate finance, investment management, and pensions. His previous roles include Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at EVRAZ, the U.S. Head of Investment Program Management at Aon Hewitt, and the Director of Treasury at Sara Lee. Edwin has taken roles in Amsterdam, Chicago, London and is now based in Berlin.
Founded in 2008 in Berlin, Zalando SE is Europe’s leading online fashion platform and connects countless customers, brands, and partners.
The headquarters are located in Berlin, and it also has offices in Dublin, Ireland, and Helsinki, Finland. The company follows a platform approach, offering fashion and lifestyle products to customers in 23 different countries.
