Before landing his role at Kiwi.com, Adesola worked in the banking industry where he got his first taste of what treasury entails.

While moving to the UK required him to start his career from scratch, he climbed through the ranks working at organisations like the Bank of America, the Hogg Robinson Group and Orsted Limited. Adesola is also a published author and motivational speaker.

Founded in 2012, Kiwi.com is an online search engine allowing users to combine transportation from non-cooperating carriers. Self-connect travel itineraries allow users to combine flights and ground transportation from over 800 carriers.

In October 2017, Kiwi.com was named the fastest-growing technology company in Central Europe by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Central Europe in the Rising Star category. Just a year later, in June 2018, Kiwi.com was named best Czech start-up by Forbes Magazine second year in a row.

In November 2019, the company announced a change in its vision to become the first Virtual Global Supercarrier and won the People’s Choice Award at the Phocuswright Conference in Miami.
