Assistant Treasury Manager – UK’s largest independent equipment dealer

We are excited to be working in collaboration with the UK’s largest independent supplier of plant and machinery in their search for an Assistant Treasury Manager.

Reporting into the Treasury Manager, the successful individual will support in all treasury and finance operations for the Group.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for cash flow forecasting for both UK and US
  • Responsible for bank reconciliations for all group companies.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Post bank transactions and manage month-end manual postings in Excel.
  • Oversee MES & MGL USD postings for USEG bank transactions into 310.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data.
  • Organising stocking loans with funders and identifying funding options
  • Ensuring monthly principal and interest payments are processed
  • Utilisation reporting and forecasting
  • Weekly reconciliation of funders asset lists to the ERP
  • Maintain accurate records of loan transactions within the ERP
  • Prepare and review interest payment analysis for the Group
  • Perform currency revaluation for both UK and US operations.
  • Support the AR and AP teams
  • Responsible for cash flow forecasting for both UK and US
  • Support Group Treasury Manger in their duties as required

 The Candidate

  • Formal training in finance, or a related field. AAT or studying towards a CCAB qualification or QBE
  • Familiarity with UK accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic and growing organisation
  • Team management
