Company & Role Overview

Our client is a global leader in the solar energy sector and is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Assistant to join their Treasury team within the Finance department. This fixed term contractor role plays a pivotal part in the Treasury Back-office team, focusing on facilitating bank account closures and establishing crucial documentation for the transition to SAP S4 Hanna, enabling multibank connectivity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Documentation Management: Prepare and manage the documentation required for both opening and closing bank accounts with our client’s global banking counterparts.
  • SAP Multi Bank Connectivity: Facilitate the documentation necessary for onboarding bank accounts to SAP Multi Bank Connectivity, ensuring seamless integration.
  • SAP Transition Support: Collaborate in preparing essential documentation ahead of the SAP go-live and assist in configuring SAP Treasury as required.
  • Account Transitions: Contribute to the documentation process for account transitions, ensuring a smooth transition process.
  • KYC Compliance: Prepare documentation for KYC refresh, not directly related to bank accounts, to ensure compliance.
  • Support and Collaboration: Provide support to the Bank Administrator and Treasury Analyst, assisting in various bank administration tasks, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Technical Skills

  • Bank Account Administration: A proven track record in bank account administration.
  • KYC Proficiency: Understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements for setting up bank accounts.
  • Banking Experience: Experience with banks such as Barclays, Natwest, HSBC, BNP, JPM, ANZ is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and comprehension skills.
  • Microsoft Suite: Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within a multi-national organization in roles related to Corporate Finance, Treasury, Company Secretary, Legal functions, or banking.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Organized and efficient work approach.
  • Collaborative team member.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
