Treasury Manager (Europe) – Leading global healthcare company – Germany

We are delighted to be partnered with a leading global healthcare company specialising in the treatment of diabetes and helping people with diabetes in their search for a Treasury Manager – Europe.

The Role

Reporting to Head of International Treasury and Insurance and working closely with the global treasury team, the Treasury Manager will be the main point of contact for all treasury matters for the European business.

In this role you will be responsible for all treasury activities including cash management, cash flow forecasting, risk management, intercompany loans and maintaining relationships with banks as well as managing a range of products including bank guarantees and letters of credit.

 Key Accountabilities:

  •  Managing Daily Cash– ensuring there are sufficient funds on the accounts to meet daily obligations, efficient cash allocation and cash concentration, preparing and analysing Daily Cash Position – monitoring banking relationship and liaising with banks.
  • Assisting and maintaining the cash flow model through Kyriba (Treasury management System)
  • Improving FX exposure management and cashflow forecast/Foreign exchange dealing
  • Preparing Monthly Bank Balance report at month-end and Month End Exchange Rate Report
  • Ad-hoc projects – Related to treasury i.e. Developing the usage of the Treasury Management System Kyriba.

 The Candidate

We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

 You have a relevant Accounting or Treasury qualification

  • Solid treasury experience within a global corporate
  • You have experience in daily cash management and reporting for multiple accounts and businesses as well as foreign exchange management.
  • Background in controlling & accounting is preferable
  • You have strong PC skills including Office365 – including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of Kyriba would be advantageous
  • You must be able to speak fluent German and English
